Cryotherapy doesn’t hurt, but it can feel intense at first. You’ll experience a very cold, dry air sensation (typically between -110°C to -140°C), which may feel surprising in the first few seconds. However, most people quickly adjust, and sessions only last around 2–3 minutes.
Rather than pain, clients often describe:
- A tingling or refreshing sensation
- A rush of endorphins
- Feeling energised afterwards
For many, it becomes an enjoyable part of their routine, especially when paired with recovery methods like ice baths or movement practices such as yoga and strength training.
